The “Alite” Mud Spa product range has been developed over a three year period, with the specific goal of producing a mud spa product range that utilises fully, the unique properties of the “Hell's Gate” muds. To this geothermal mud has been added some of New Zealand’s finest ingredients including Manuka oil (Ti Tree Oil), Manuka honey and New Zealand milk combined with the best of what the world has to offer – to produce the “Alite” range of spa products.
“Alite” has been extensively trialled both in New Zealand and Internationally during and subsequent to its development on a range of skin types. The product has not been tested on animals.The unique geothermal muds and waters of Rotorua are renowned for their curative and invigoriating properties and this is particularly so at 'Hells Gate' Rotorua's most active thermal park.
The mineral enriched geothermal mud provides an excellent source of minerals including silica, alumina, magnesium, calcium, iron, titanium, sulphur, phosphorous, sodium and potassium as well as trace elements such as copper, zinc, selenium, cobalt, manganese and molybdenum
Additional properties of “Hells Gate” muds include:
- Very strong affinity to moisture in the skin making it an excellent product for promoting regenerating skin cells.
- Detoxifying and purifying action of the mud on the skin when drying.
- Highly active clay surfaces of the mud that easily absorbs excess oils and fatty secretions from within the skin’s pores.
- Bacteriacidal properties of the mud through it’s sulphur content which kill bacteria and assists in the prevention and elimination of acne.
The “Alite “ Mud Spa Product range has been designed to be non allergic to most skin types. If, in the unlikely event, you find that the product is causing a skin reaction then discontinue use immediately.
